BMW E39 paint codes, OEM color options
I am pretty sure I am on the right track now (after wasting money on 4 wheel sensors). My 2003 530i with 229K miles on it started getting the Trifecta (with the 'service engine' going on after it counts the D6, CC and maybe a few other screwy codes) at about 100K miles ago (so it ain't a problem except for resale if you have a conscience). All that heat could be causing the ABS unit or the wheel speed sensor on the front left wheel to malfunction.
