Clutch depressed at low speed clunk
WebJan 9, 2010 · Visual underneath sled with back end up while running doesn't point to any obvious problem. Brake calliper straight with no warpage. This has all the signs of a belt issue but it does it with no belt while turning the track by hand. Also the sled has 2700 miles and is lady driven generally at a max of 30mph. WebOct 6, 2012 · The problem: in this 2006 Focus wagon, when doing a low speed turn at full steering lock, when I apply the brakes I get a loud clunk or pop. This is definitely coming from the driver side wheel area. The noise is loudest when the steering wheel is turned all the way hard left. On a shallower turn I get a softer clunk.

Dec 12, 2016 · WebMay 29, 2013 · Low-RPM shifting produces a noticeable clunk in my Si if I shift below 3,000 RPM. It's a Honda, so they are not afraid of higher RPM. Remember these engines (K24 and R18) make their peak torque between 4,300-4,400 RPM, so by shifting closer to that RPM, you may actually get better MPG.

It is impossible to drive the commander at slower speeds like under 4mph. All it does is jerk a crick in my neck. Before everyone torches me about driving it slow I do have to use it around the house for chores. WebMar 11, 2015 · When you push in the clutch pedal, the transmission is disconnected from the engine and is therefor not turning. When the transmission is in gear and the clutch engaged, the front bearing will not usually make any noise due to the torque applied to the main shaft. That is at least at first until the bearing gets bad enough to be making noise ...

Sounds almost like gearbox whine. Now I can hear the same noise at about 60-75kph (~35-45mph), only louder, in any gear, even neutral. Goes away by going above or below that speed.
