In 1957, the library purchased a bookmobile and the library’s name was changed to Farmingdale Public Library. In November, 1958, the library moved to a new home at the corner of Main and Conklin Streets. Dedication day was set for March 1, 1959. WebWe acknowledge and thank the Friends of the Library, for generously assisting with our museum pass program. Please note: a $10.00 per day late fee is charged if a PICK UP and RETURN pass is returned past the scheduled due date. After three (3) days past due, the patron will additionally be charged the replacement cost of the museum membership.
