Ird seals
WebJun 13, 2024 · One seal keeps the IRD oil in, another stops the gearbox oil reaching the IRD and the O ring seems to form a gasket between the IRD and gearbox housing. I have had a look around the forums but cant find any discussions re the IRD/Gearbox seal replacement ( but am happy to be proved wrong!) Q1) Have I the correct understanding re the above?
